Join Our Litter Bugs Me Volunteer On-Call Team!

Litter Bugs Me, a roadside clean up effort in West Marin is expanding to help keep our roadsides free of trash throughout the year. This year, we are piloting a partnership with Marin County to recruit volunteers to help clean up the roadsides ahead of the annual roadside mowing crews. This will help prevent the formation of microplastic in our watersheds. Shredded trash is much harder to clean up and threatens the health of terrestrial and marine wildlife. Let us know if you're interested in helping out by signing up below.

We will reach out to you with more details on this program after you have signed up. This form is being used by our team to build a list of volunteers who are interested in being "on call" with a 2-3 week notice to help us pick up trash. Our schedule is based on notification we receive from the County of Marin Public Works Department as they progress through their spring and summer mowing schedule. They will give us a 2-3 week lead time for each region. We anticipate cleanups will start in late April and run through September and will include county roads in the following regions:

• Chileno Valley
• Inverness/Inverness Park
• Point Reyes / Olema
• Samuel P Taylor / Platform Bridge Road
• San Geronimo Valley

Thank you for helping to protect the lands, waters, and biodiversity of West Marin!
