Amigos Alados (Winged Friends) is a pen pal project linking classrooms along the Pacific Flyway from Canada to Mexico so that students can learn about the migratory songbirds they share. The program will serve 1,200+ students in the 2022 - 2023 school year of which 460 students are attending Marin and Sonoma County schools.

$15 - three student booklets on the bird they are studying
$25 - printing of one set of Amigos Alados bird information cards
$50 - one Amigos Alados Teachers' Manual
$100 - one Ornithologist for a Day backpack
$250 - sending of one packet of pen pal letters to Mexico
$500 - increasing our capacity to connect students, or upgrading our communications/website enhancements
