Trash and debris accumulates on our roadsides throughout the year. The roadside trash poses a hazard to wildlife and humans alike. Please join us to help clean up our Marin County roadways, before the county mowers pass through and shred the roadside trash as they work to keep our roads safely clear of overgrown vegetation.

Volunteers can sign up to choose their roadway location. We will contact you to coordinate your cleanup date with other volunteers who chose your roadway, as well as picking up supplies needed from our office (reusable safety vests, buckets, bags, gloves, and grabbers).

Volunteer duties:

• Fill out EAC's Litter Bugs Me Liability Waiver and Photo Release and submit to: [email protected].
• Pick up trash along the designated roadside with at least one other person.
• Safety first! Wear a safety vest, and beware of traffic as you walk the roadsides.
• Take photos of the activity and the final collected trash.
• Estimate the volume (gallons) of trash and recyclables collected, note any unusual items, and submit results and photos to EAC.
• Volunteers must dispose of the trash and recycling on their own, but we can help identify appropriate locations.

We are grateful for your participation in Litter Bugs Me! Let's get out there and protect what we love in West Marin!
